AKC STAR Puppy Kindergarten
The Puppy Kindergarten class offers the right amount of training, age-pertinent socialization and discussion topics of troublesome puppy behaviors.
Age Recommendations: 9 weeks to 5 months
This class covers;
The course is 6 weeks long, meets once a week for an hour and covers sit, down, stay, coming when called, loose leash walking, proper socialization, chewing, house training, nipping and many other commands and problem behaviors puppy owners face during the first 6 months.
Our main focus in the Puppy Kindergarten class is proper socialization! We want your puppy to grow up to be a stable adult dog!
At the end of the class you will earn your puppy’s AKC STAR Puppy Certificate, AKC STAR Medal and you and your puppy will be listed in the AKC STAR Puppy Records.

Beyond Basics Foundation Class
The Beyond Basics class offers the right amount of training, continued socialization and discussion topics of troublesome behaviors.
Age Recommendations: 5 months and older.
Prerequisite: Puppy Kindergarten
* The Beyond Basics class is the first class to start with if you have not taken a group class and your dog is 5 months or older.
This class covers;
Loose-leash-walking, working walk, heel, sit, down, a release word, leave-it, how to get your dog's attention, not to door dart, to settle on cue, and to come when called. This class will set you up to succeed in reaching your goals with your dog.
It also goes over all the troublesome behaviors you might be dealing with at this age such as;
House training, crate training, nipping/mouthing, barking, chewing, unruly house behavior and jumping.

Intermediate All Star
Distance, duration and distraction will be added to what your dog learned in the Beyond Basics class. Continued manners training, taking basic obedience to the next level, teaching impulse control, problem solving troublesome behaviors and so much more!
Age Recommendations: 9 months and older
Prerequisite: Beyond Basics or equivalent at another facility
The Intermediate All Star class is designed to take you one step further in training.
This class covers;
Advances your dog's knowledge on basic obedience such as heel and recall by adding off leash components into training a dog and polishes the basics; sit, down, stay, and leave-it. You're dog learns Go to Place/Settle on Mat through shaping the behavior and teaches your dog how to remain calm when the doorbell rings! This class gives you the skills to refocus your dog with major distractions outside of the house (squirrels, rabbits, other dogs, people, etc.), and helps your dog learn how to listen to your cues when asked the first time! This class sets your dog up to succeed in taking the Canine Good Citizen Course or the All Star Adventure class!

K9 PHD Rock Star
Age Recommendations: 1.5 years and older
Prerequisite: Intermediate All Star or equivalent at another facility
This class covers;
Distractions! Distractions! Distractions! This class is all about adding major distractions to the environment while your dog still focuses on you, fine tuning your dog's skill set, making their responses look "pretty", and working towards off leash control in distracting situations! Precision and fluency are the goals for this class! We also teach a solid advance trick through out the class to keep things fun and interesting!

All Star Adventure Club
Age Recommendations: 9 months and older
Prerequisite: Beyond Basics, Intermediate All Star or equivalent at another facility
This class covers;
The All-Star Adventure Class is a six-week course that focuses on applying practical behaviors learned in the classroom in a different outdoor location every week. Meeting in different locations provides a great opportunity for continued socialization with other dogs, animals, situations, and people of all kinds, while teaching your dog to be appropriate canine citizens! This class focuses on real world training! We train at different dog-friendly locations each week! From parks to breweries to shopping centers to hiking trails - we go any where you'd like to bring your dog! We will cover what cues are important and how to refocus your dog when you need to!
This is a fun class geared towards 'real-life' training and is a great class to begin to set your dog up to succeed in passing the Canine Good Citizen test! This class is ever changing, and the students in the class get to pick the locations where we go!

Cost: $225
Class Duration: 1 hour per week, 6 weeks long.

Rowdy Rovers (On Leash Reactivity)
MODIFIED GROUP CLASS
This modified group class helps dogs who bark, lunge, growl and become defensive in the presence of other dogs or people on leash. In this class, the dog learns how to behave appropriately on leash in the presence of other dogs, and to look to their owner for guidance.
This course helps the owner understand On Leash Reactivity and how to help their dog in times of need.
This class covers;
On Leash Reactivity & On Leash Aggression training. Behavior modification and management techniques.

Age Recommendations: 5 months and older
The sport of Nose Work is the new doggy trend! People love it and dogs are hooked after one class! It’s a fantastic tool for building confidence in dogs that struggle with and show timid behaviors in new environments and around people. It also helps dogs who display reactivity and aggression!
Prerequisite: No training required!
This class covers;
We offer all levels of Nose Work, from introduction to preparing for trails. If you and your dog are new to the sport, please register for the Intro to Nose Work Part 1 class. If your dog has previous Nose Work experience but you are not sure what class to enroll in feel free to email us! We're here to help!

Cost: $150 per dog, $100 for second dog in same household
Class Duration: 1.5 hours per week, 6 weeks long.

PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are required to be crated indoors or in the car or enclosed safely behind a barrier during parts of the class. The instructor provides information on how to keep your dog comfortable in the crate.
